TVC Queen of the Court League – Official Rules
Welcome to the TVC Queen of the Court League, a fast-paced 4-on-4 volleyball league created for players who want to have fun, compete, and prepare for the upcoming High School season. This league is designed to maximize ball contacts, improve volleyball IQ, increase speed and agility, and provide valuable game repetitions in a competitive environment.
League Schedule
The league will be played on the following dates:
- Tuesday, July 21
- Thursday, July 23
- Tuesday, July 28
- Thursday, July 30
- Tuesday, August 4 – Championship Night
All league nights will run from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
Teams
Teams consist of 4 players on the court with a maximum roster of 5 players (one optional substitute).
Players may:
- Create their own team.
- Choose any team name.
- Wear any matching uniforms they wish.
Match Format
All regular season matches are played using Rally Scoring to 10 points. The first team to reach 10 points wins the match.
Matches are intentionally short so every team can play as many games as possible during each league night. The number of matches played each night will depend on the number of registered teams.
Ranking System – Every Point Earns the Crown
Every point scored during the season counts toward the standings.
- Every point scored = 1 Ranking Point
- Winning a match = 5 Bonus Ranking Points
Example
Final Score: 10–7
Winning Team:
- 10 Points Scored
- +5 Bonus Points
- Total: 15 Ranking Points
Losing Team:
- 7 Points Scored
- Total: 7 Ranking Points
Every point matters. Never stop competing.
Standings & Playoffs
Teams will be ranked by their total Ranking Points accumulated throughout the regular season.
The playoff format will depend on the number of registered teams:
- 4–7 Teams: Elite 4
- 8–15 Teams: Elite 8
- 16 or More Teams: Elite 16
The top-ranked teams will advance to Championship Night.
Tiebreakers
If two or more teams finish tied in the standings, ties will be broken in the following order:
- Most Match Wins
- Head-to-Head Result
- Point Differential
- Total Points Scored
Sportsmanship
Players are expected to compete with integrity and respect at all times. Respect for teammates, opponents, officials, and spectators is required throughout the league.

Championship Awards
The Queen of the Court Champions will receive:
- A Championship Crown for every player
- Award for 2nd place
- League MVP Award
Registration
- $60 per player
- $240 per team
- The extra 5th player can pay at the Facility.
- Register by Friday July 17th
Eligibility
The TVC Queen of the Court League is open to all High School players from any club. You do not have to be a TVC player to participate.
League Mission
The TVC Queen of the Court League is more than just a competition. It is an opportunity to gain valuable game reps, improve speed and agility, increase volleyball IQ, build confidence, and prepare for High School tryouts while enjoying a fun, fast-paced, and highly competitive volleyball experience.
